As we come to a close on the 2016 real estate market here in Chelan/Manson, it’s interesting to note the pace with which the market has grown.
5 years ago, when the market bottomed on the West side, the average sales price here in Chelan was $339,627.
“Fast forward 5 years and we find the average sales price has increased more than 58% to $539,649.”
The Chelan market is largely influenced by the real estate health of the Seattle/Bellevue market. This year’s second half has also shown tremendous growth this year, due in no small part to the recent real estate tax on Vancouver international buyers who are now looking to leave BC for Washington’s friendlier tax policies.
