Chelan small businesses are walking the talk when it comes to being reslilient. Just a few short weeks ago, every one (including myself) was gearing up for the Spring season and all the events and visitors that would bring. But when that came to a halt with Governor Inslee’s order to close Bars and Restaruants (and yes, wineries were included) we all had to get a little creative.
How can you best support small business in town?
One of the best things we can do right now is to continue to support businesses in town, by buying gift cards for future use, ordering take out (or delivery), or giving them a shout out on social media. Missing the ambience of your favorite winery? Why not leave them a review on Google, Yelp, or their Facebook page and then follow them on Facebook and Instagram.
See someone or a business or organization doing something really special for the community? Share it on social media, let others know how they can help as well.
Hopefully in a few short months we’ll be saying “remember when”, but let’s make sure we help each other “keep going” in the meantime.
